IT Centre – Punjab University Jhelum Campus (PUJC)

The IT Centre at PUJC provides comprehensive IT support and services across the entire campus. It manages over 250 computing nodes, including three Computer Labs, Classrooms, Faculty Offices, and Administrative Departments.

The IT infrastructure includes:

• Two Computer Labs, each equipped with 32 high-performance computers and multimedia projectors, designed for subjects requiring practical demonstrations.

• A General Purpose Lab with 65 advanced computers and essential software to assist students with assignments and research work.

• An Aggregation Point of Presence (A-PoP), selected by HEC, to provide high-speed internet connectivity to local universities and colleges.

Services Offered by PUJC IT Centre:

1.Internet Services

PUJC IT Centre is connected to Pakistan Education and Research Network (PERN2), offering high-speed internet for students and faculty. Currently, the campus utilizes a dedicated 8 MB fiber-optic internet connection, with an additional 2 MB backup link to ensure uninterrupted access.

2.Email Services

The IT Centre provides official email services for faculty, staff, and administration through ([email protected]) to ensure professional communication.

3.Printing Services

Students have access to document printing facilities through the Local Area Network (LAN), allowing them to print from their user accounts conveniently.
